Four Steps to Achieving Your Goals
The second very important step is to look around and making sure you have the right support group around you! The support group around you could be friends, your immediate family, or even an online community. People that lift you up, believe in you, and support you in what you believe you can do. The people that bring out the best in you. The people or person that will lift you up when you're having moments of doubt. This is probably the most important step, more important than all the others, because without this one none of the other ones will be possible - and with this one, all the other ones are possible.
The third step is check on your goals throughout the year. Cut your goals in half, or even into quarters for the year. It's like when you walk into your children's toy room..where do you start? You start from one end, and keep going. It can be overwhelming, and it can make you want to walk away. If you make your goals more reachable, you'll be able to cross off more on your list/goals. So depending on what your goals are, cut it into quarters. Most of us have many goals on our list, so list those out, categorize them, and then cut them into more reachable goals with the dates you want to have achieved them by. There are many apps for tracking goals out there to help, if you don't trust yourself with a pen and paper.
Fourth and final step is to take action. Don't make a goal, and think you'll get to it when the time is right. Don't wait for the "right" time, and don't make excuses for why you're not starting today. There's no reason not to start today. You have control of your goals, you can do it. Believe in yourself. Be your own biggest supporter. Achieve your goals, start crossing those items off your list sooner by starting sooner.
What are your goals for the year? Do you have any tips you can add?
Best wishes, and a happy new year to you all!
