Build & Imagine Magnetic Building and Storytelling Sets - Malia's Beach House #toys #review
I remember when I was in about 3rd grade or so, and having these paper cut out dolls that had interchangeable outfits, they had a fold that let it attach to the paper dolls. Such a simple toy, yet I remember spending hours playing with them. The Build & Imagine StoryWalls sets reminds me of it, an upgraded version of it. The set comes with dual sided illustrated magnetic building panels, wooden dolls and dozens of magnetics colors and props to dress the dolls, decorate the scene, and inspire storytelling. While offering hours of play it also encourages children to develop pre-literacy skills through storytelling.
There's no need for batteries or assembly. The simple act of connecting shapes to form three dimensional structures helps develop foundational skills to start kids on a successful journey in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math). The possibilities are endless as children can explore the builder in them.
Build & Imagine was founded by Laurie Peterson, an award-winning toy designer and mother who noticed that the kinds of play experiences she enjoyed as a child (involving building, creativity, and experimentation) were barely represented in the girls' section of most toy stores. She developed these magnetic building toys with leading female characters and rich narrative details to engage both girls and boys. All my children have been enjoying them, I just make sure to keep the small magnets away from my little one.
Malia's Beach House is a magnetic dollhouse kids get to design. It comes with two dolls Malia and Skyler, 16 dual-sided building panels, and more than 40 magnetic accessories. It features fun features on the magnetic pieces like a swimming pool, 2 bedroom choices, a working front door, and more. It's an easy to use construction toy that children will enjoy playing with.
It's no wonder Build & Imagine has won more than 25 awards for its five existing toys in the last two years, and its line has grown this season. The colorfully illustrated StoryWalls connect magnetically and the two-sided panels give children more scenes to create. They can dress up the characters, and add little accessories on the sciences with the little magnets included. Easy to store, easy to travel with, fun to play with toy that will keep children engaged. Keep these adorable toy sets in mind when your shopping for your little one this holiday season.
