I recently attended a Mom Trends mom's night out (#MTnightout) event, and mingled with other working moms and household brands that help us get by our naturally out of balance parenting lifestyles. The times have changed and more and more dads are involved in parenting, and many moms no longer just stay at home but did you know that according to a survey by Parents, 62 percent of moms are still doing all the dirty work at home? I could relate to those 62 percent and many other moms that juggle it all, all the time. Parents need pay leave, and as a result to help everyone out in the long run dads need it too. “Research shows that fathers who take leave when their babies are young are more involved around the house and with their kids as they grow up” - Hegewisch. That totally makes sense, when we have a huge change in our lives it's that moment we need to set a system that works for everyone because that system will be the family system for the years to come.
Lucky for us moms at the event, brands were there to show us some tips to make our lives less hectic, some colorful ideas, and showcase their latest. I'm happy to share these fun tips and DIY's with you all.

You take your favorite unscented lotion of choice, and drop in a few droplets of your naturally scented essential oils. Mix and you're all done. I created a Vanilla and Lavender lotion, a great scent lotion to apply on your hands before bedtime.

Hope you found these tips useful, and I hope you take some time to yourself sometime soon. Also remember all our lives are truly out of balance, and try not to feel too guilty or pressured as a parent. We are all doing all we can, and us moms give 110 percent of ourselves each day in and out. We always say it to our children and our spouse, so let me be the one to tell you this time everything is going to be ok.
