POM Guacamole is super easy to make, and will make you look like a pro at your next holiday gathering!  The burst of flavor and texture turns out to be a surprisingly great addition to guacamole.

Serves: 4
Ingredients:
2 ripe avocados, skin & pit removed
zest and juice of 1 lime
1 small red onion finely chopped
1 large jalapeño pepper deseeded & finely chopped
1 garlic clove finely chopped
salt to taste
1/2 cup of POM POMs Fresh Arils
Tortilla or Pita chips
Method:
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, mash the avocado and mix in the lime zest and juice, red onion, jalapeño, garlic.  Season to taste with salt.  Stir in the pomegranate seeds and serve with tortilla or pita chips.

A super fun fact for you wine lovers out there, pomegranates are said to have three times as many antioxidants as both wine or green tea!  What a great little fact to know, so we can add it to our wine right?!  I got to test out two amazing drinks made with POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice.  The Dapper Devil,  a sweet drink with a kick of spice, and fizz of club soda made with Aviation Gin is the perfect holiday drink for the grown-ups.
Recipe: 
Servings: 1 | Time to Table: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
2 oz. POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice
2 slices of jalapeño
1 1/2 oz. Aviation Gin
Club soda
Twist of lime
Ice
Method:
1. In an old fashioned glass, muddle jalapeños.
2. Pour in 2 ox. of POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice and add 1 1/2 oz. Aviation Gin, add ice and stir.
3. Tap with a splash of club soda and a twist of lime.

 The POM Refresh has no alcohol and is great for everyone.  It has POM POM Fresh Arils in the drink as well as a himalayan salt, guaranteed to impress any guest.
Recipe:
Servings: 1 | Time to Table: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
6 oz. POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice
10 large leaves of fresh mint
1/8 teaspoon of Pink Himalayan Salt
2 tablespoons of POM POMS Fresh Arils
Method:
1. In a tall glass muddle 10 large leaves of fresh mint and 1/8 tsp of Pink Himalayan Salt.
2. Pour in 6 0z of POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice and 2 oz. of water.  Still to dissolved the salt.
3. Add ice and garnish with a fresh mint sprig and POM POMs Fresh Arils.

Nicole's POM POMs Chicken Salad 
Recipe:Servings: 2
Ingredients:  
1/2 cup of POM POMs Fresh Pomegranate Arils
1/2 cup of walnuts
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 cup sliced chicken
4 cups of mixed onions (optional mix in: arugula)
Dressing Ingredients:  
2 tablespoons EVOO
1/4 tablespoon honey
1/4 tablespoon of mustard 
pinch of salt
-Combine all the ingredients in a small jar and shake vigorously-
Method:Combine all ingredients
Add dressing
Toss and serve over greens

After enjoying Nicole's POM POMs Chicken Salad, POM POMs-Stuffed Quinoa Squash, and many more amazing creations, the evening was concluded with Whole Wheat Waffles with POM POMs.  A great idea for dessert, and just as much for breakfast.  It is made with whole wheat flour, cinnamon, coconut oil, yogurt, honey..and of course topped with POM POMs Fresh Arils.  A delicious, attractive sweet treat.

In our home we are all about learning about the foods we consume, so my children were excited (whether they fully understood or not) the many health benefits Pomegranates have.  I'm glad to have taught my children to love the word healthy, as they were as excited as I am about the POM Wonderful juices and ready to eat arils.  As you see they are eye catching, beautiful fruit that happen to have antioxidant, and antiviral properties with a great source of vitamins A, C, and E, as well as folid acid.  I have already had fun incorporating them into our allergy friendly dishes, and drinks for my whole family.  Thanks to Mom Trends and POM Wonderful for a truly beautiful evening.
