Right in time, after Earth Day start filtering your own water instead of buying bottled water with a ZeroWater Pitcher. Easy and convenient, and was great to see the results, specially with the TDS Tester that it comes with, which shows you the amount of solids dissolved in your water. Thought it was a very convenient tool, and was surprised with the results, as I tested out the different waters we drink. We drink lots of water here, it is the main thing we drink around here so I was anxious to try the TDS meter right away.
I called my husband over so I can show him the tap water he likes to carelessly drink has a hundred plus reading on the TDS meter, but was pleasantly surprised that our tap water showed "33" as the results. Meanwhile the bottled water I had at the time of testing had "87," not happy about that!? Was actually upsetting to see that reading on bottled water- that I do depend on to be 'pure'. After those startling results, we ran both through the filter that has a 5 stage dual Ion exchange filter system which features:
"Certified* to reduce Lead, Chromium & Mercury Patented 5-Stage Dual-Ion Exchange filtration system Ion-Exchange system that removes virtually all dissolved solids in your water The FDA requires the TDS level in PURIFIED bottled water to reach 000-010ppm. ZeroWater is the only water filter in its class to achieve this level."
convenient to store your TDS meter right on the lid of pitcher
After running through the filter and pouring through the convenient spout the pitcher features, was happy to say all showed a great "000" which all our drinking water should show as. It tasted crisp and so clear, I was so upset at the pack of bottled water we had recently purchased (a different brand than the usual one we get) I ran all of it through the filter, and of course placed all bottles to recycle.
no guessing on when to change filters with the TDS meter
Overall I love the design of the pitcher and the most important part, how well it filters too. It tastes so clear and crisp, to think I was missing out on really good "tasting" water before. The convenient TDS meter definitely made us more interested in seeing the results and had us three standing in a triangle to see the results. LOL ;)

We drink a few gallons a week I would guess. Plus we use filtered water for our coffee. The ZeroWater Pitcher would probably make our coffee pot and Keurig last MUCH longer!
We go through about 2 gallons of water a day just for drinking while people are home but the water is gross. We are in TX, and during the drought this summer the water tasted like dirt and mold. Our reading on the website says 228.
